Nanoplasty - what is it? The demand for beauty industry products is growing every day, and the number of new offers is increasing accordingly. The hairdressing industry has not been spared. One of the new products is the hair nanoplasty procedure. Having appeared in Ukraine in early 2017, it is now confidently taking its place among the top offers. Nanoplasty is a new step in hair straightening. Being a cross between keratin and Botox services, it combines both of their tasks: smoothes and heals hair.

All manufacturers of such products talk about their harmlessness for allergy sufferers and expectant or nursing mothers, claiming that it contains only natural ingredients. Is this true, or is it just an advertising ploy to make the buyer buy another "pacifier"? The most popular nanoplasty products in Ukraine from well-known brands are hardly in doubt: Honma Tokyo Coffee Green, Beox Solution, Floractive W-One, Felps Nanoplastica? Finally, are these formulations stronger in their smoothing properties than standard keratin?

Nanoplasty - how is it done?

As always, the opinions of our clients and nail technicians were divided into the exact opposite: supporters of the new service and supporters of the old one. Many continue to see more advantages in the usual keratin straightening while noting the disadvantages of the new procedure. Manufacturers of nanoplastics, on the contrary, claim the superpowers of their product, which is suitable for all hair types and will smooth even very curly hair up to afro waves. According to their assurances, the BIO composition will restore hair and give it a new look. Do you agree that you already want to buy yourself a new miracle product? But what if you dig deeper?

In advertising brochures, we are presented with information competently, with attractive expected results. However, the disadvantages of "magic remedies" are revealed in practice. Nanoplasty is no exception. This procedure is declared to be an improved version of keratin, which does not contain formaldehyde or other hazardous substances (therefore, it is safe for your and your hair's health), does not emit a foul odor (only occasionally, when treating hair with an iron, it can force masters to put masks on themselves and their clients). Unfortunately, due to the more sophisticated technology, the process of applying and fixing the composition takes much longer than during other straightening procedures: you will have to set aside 3-4 hours to see the "wow effect."

Nanoplasty - continuous advantages and almost complete absence of disadvantages

Yes, no one has ever left a salon chair with a dissatisfied face, but how it changed in owners of light, thin hair or weakened dyed/bleached hair after the first hair wash at home! Advertisers do not warn that nanoplasty cannot improve already damaged hair: it will only worsen its condition, adding brittleness and split ends to the terrible look. After the first wash of hair at home, owners of blond hair will not be able to comb it: it will become tangled, especially the ends. And one more thing: this procedure can change the color of your hair by several tones, which you should also know in advance. Is it worth the 3-5 thousand spent in the salon?

But despite its disadvantages, nanoplasty has great advantages: it copes well with hard, dark, intensely curly hair, showing a noticeable straightening effect after the first application, and it lasts for a long time, from 4 to 6 months (slightly less than keratin, but the choice depends on your expectations). The hair is less heavy, its daily styling is easier, and its appearance is pleasing to the eye: smooth, flowing, shiny, without a "chemical" smell. Of course, as after any procedure, to maintain the result, hair requires special professional care: sulfate-free shampoos, special balms, and moisturizing masks, the prices of which "hit the pocketbook."

Nanoplastics - modern odorless and smoke-free formulations!

It's up to you to decide whether the opportunity to do without the daily use of a hairdryer and curling iron is worth the procedure. I would like to hear what the masters who use nanoplasty think and the clients who have already tried this procedure.
