1- Before application of Beox Luminous Straightener, a skin test must be performed. The use is not recommended in cases of irritation or broken skin. Acidity of the product may cause itch or burning feeling.
Moisten the hair to start application of Beox Luminous Straightener. Hair must be 70% damp. If the hair is dirty or has oil or creams residues, start process using Beox Luminous Shampoo, removing the excessive water with a towel.
Divide the hair in 4 sections. From one ear to the other, parcel out the central section in other 3 parts. The 4th section is the back of the head (nape). It is necessary to divide this way to ensure all the locks receive the product evenly and a natural subsidence of hair;
2 - Apply Beox Luminous Straightener close to the scalp with a brush, keeping the distance of 1cm. Spread the product evenly from scalp to the tips using a comb.
When applying the product, position the locks 90o, due to avoid the contact with scalp.
The same procedure must be performed on frontal sector. To ensure a natural aspect of the hair, drop the locks from up to the back of the head.
If the top of the head gets dry during the process, spray some water to keep it damp. Water is conductive and helps the product absorption ensuring better results.
During all application process and pause, keep the hair straight and aligned;
3 - Make sure all the locks are evenly covered by the product; let it sit for 50 minutes. Do not clip, twist or stretch the hair while applying or pause time. This transformation process will define the final result based on hair positioning. Undesirable positioning impacts directly on treatment final results.
In case if irritation or burning feeling, clean the affected area using moist cotton. It is not necessary to rinse off the product from all head. Never use pointy instruments to scratch irritated area;
4 - Rinse the hair with warm or cold water (no shampoo), removing 30% of the product. On blond hair, 100% of the product must be removed before ironing. Residues may leave undesirable stings because of ironing process;
5 - To align the hair, blow dry from the top to lower sections, using only hands or a comb, removing 100% of humidity;
6 - Dry out thin locks up to 90oC heat (194oF). Start ironing from the scalp to the tips continuously. Ironing process must be repeated 15 to 20 times each lock, up to 230oC (446oF). Hold the hair firmly and make sure the straightening iron lid is well close.
WARNING: Do not fold or twist the hair while it is being heated. Hair may be deformed or become wavy.
Due to avoid yellowing effect of blond hair, do not iron the hair in one section repeatedly. Start from the scalp to the tips continuously. Do not iron the same section of the lock in less than 1 second, this could provide excessive heat and change hair coloring;
7 - As the hair gets cold, rinse it with warm or cold water (no shampoo). Once unaligned locks are detected, repeat the process only on desired section;
8 - To obtain shiny, hydrated and light hair, apply Beox Luminous Mask after the procedure. Let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes and rinse the hair with plenty water;
9 - To ensure the client’s satisfaction, Blow dry the hair from the top to the lower levels of the head, using only hands or a racquet style brush.
The client must be instructed to adopt the same procedure after each wash. This simple process tames the hair to its new shape, keeping the strands aligned for longer.
